Sadly, on June 12, Ron Paul announced that he has stepped out of the 2008 Presidential race, leaving John McCain as the lone Republican running for the White House this year.  Click here to read Ron Paul's campaign closure message.

We were very saddened to hear this and are disappointed that the campaign did not go until the end.  On the other hand, though, Ron Paul's campaign and message of freedom and liberty gained wide-spread support and a huge following of otherwise apathetic or misguided voters.  These people are now freedom fighters in the truest sense and will continue to carry Paul's ideas forward into the future.

To that end, Congressman Paul has announced a new program to promote the agenda of freedom and liberty through legislation, like-minded candidates, and more.  You'll find more information about this and a chance to sign up to pledge your help and support at this link: www.campaignforliberty.com

Following suit, Truckers4RonPaul.org will be undergoing some major changes over the next few days to complement this new campaign.  Our newsletter will be changing formats somewhat as will our website itself.

While we're saddened to see Ron Paul exit the Presidential race this year, we're glad to see that he is continuing to move forward, pressing the agenda he has worked so hard to promote the past thirty plus years.
